Fiber Optic Rotary Joint adopts fiber optic as media, providing the best technical solution for the transmission of data. It is especially suitable for equipments that require unlimited, continuous or intermittent rotation, transmitting large capacity of data and signals from the stationary position to the rotary position. It can improve mechanical performance, simplify system operation, and avoid damage to fiber optic due to the rotation of moving joints. The fiber optic rotary joint can be used together with a traditional electric slip ring, so as to make a photoelectric hybrid slip ring for the transmission of power and high speed data.

Fiber Optic Rotary Joints
Fiber Optic Rotary Joints (FORJs) are to optical signals what electrical slip rings are to electrical signals, a means to pass signals across rotating interfaces, particularly when transmitting large amounts of data. FORJs maintain the intrinsic advantages of fiber end to end. JINPAT has been producing Fiber Optic Rotary Joints for over Twenty-five years.
Single or Multi-Channel
FORJs are available in single and multi-channel options. The most cost and size efficient options are the single and dual channel designs. If more than two fibers are present in a system, multiplexing solutions are available to combine multiple channels onto one or two fibers to allow the use of a one or two channel FORJ.
Pneumatic-Hydraulic-Electric Integrated Rotary Joints Installation Guide
1.Correspond the rotary joint installation position with the application. Prior to installation, rotor side should be connected to air hose with intact sealing and make sure there is no gas/liquid leakage.
2.Adjust the rotor’s concentricity before fixation to ensure smooth operation of the rotary joint.
3.Mount the anti-rotation rods into the mounting holes of the stator to realize anti rotation. Can be customized upon request.
Pneumatic-Hydraulic-Electric Integrated Rotary Joints Precautions
1.Avoid impact and dropping during transportation and storage to prevent damages to the joints and inner parts.
2.Adopt locking measures for the fixation bolts.
3.When installing the screw joints and rotary joints, ensure the thread patterns of both the inner and outer hose are consistent with the rotating direction of the roller. The thread patterns of the inner and outer hose should be consistent, too.
4.The entry and exit of the rotary joint should be directly connected with the flexible hose if possible. Medium should be flited before entering the rotary joint to ensure longer life span of the component.
5.The support and anti-rotation of the rotary joint should be appropriate. Generally, a certain flexibility between the anti-rotation rod and the fix part should be maintained.
