Excavators are one of the most common types of construction machinery in people's eyes. As large construction equipment with a body and chassis that can rotate relatively infinitely, they also require the support of slip rings. The most common slip ring on excavators is the pneumatic hydraulic slip ring, which is mounted onthe chassis and often used in conjunction with the excavator's hydraulic plunger pump to transmit high-pressure hydraulic fluid during rotational operations. In order to transmit hydraulic oil at higher pressures, these pneumatic hydraulic slip rings are generally made of stainless steel to ensure strength. Depending on the power or tonnage, the size of the gas and liquid passages in these slip rings may vary slightly.

With increasingly stringent global emission regulations, the trend toward electrification is bound to sweep through the field of engineering machinery.In this trend, in addition to pneumatic hydraulic slip rings for transmitting hydraulic oil, pneumatic hydraulic electric integrated slip rings and high-current integrated slip rings may also gain certain market share. Some manufacturers may choose to use external power sources instead of diesel engines to drive equipment on excavators. This approach involves integrating an armored cable reel into the engineering machinery, with the slip ring serving as a component integrated within the reel to support the transmission of current during the motion of the engineering machinery.
